APPLICATION FOR IRISH PASSPORT
Was your parent born in Ireland?
If your parent was born in Ireland, you are technically already considered an Irish citizen! You are eligible to apply for an Irish passport which will serve as proof of your Irish citizenship, and make your citizenship “official.” We can assist in obtaining the records required for your application, and we handle the entire passport application process as well.
The records required for the passport application package generally include the certified, long form copies of the birth and marriage records of your parent (technically including any additional marriages and divorces), as well as your own birth record. If your name has changed by marriage, we must also submit that record, and any other marriage/divorce records where necessary.
Our fees to obtain the records are itemized per record and depend on the location (and sometimes, the year) of each event. For example, our fee for Irish birth records is $180.00. (If you have a copy of the record, our fee is $90.00.) In rare cases where the mother's maiden name cannot be found or determined, the fee for the Irish birth record is $225.00.
If you recently obtained Irish citizenship and registration on the FBR, you are also eligible to apply for an Irish citizenship.

Your siblings can join your application and "share" the certified records of your parent if they live in the same Irish consulate district as you.
For the reasons noted above, the total fees for the entire process will vary based on each individual's Irish lineage and the relevant events. Case Analysis (Vital Records Review)
Thorough review and analysis of client’s lineage to determine the records required for the passport application, and review and analysis of vital records obtained by the company and client to determine: 1) whether all of the required vital records have been obtained; 2) whether the records are in sufficient form (long form and properly certified); and 3) whether any issues/discrepancies exist that may cause the client's application package to be delayed or rejected. If any such issues do exist, we will advise regarding the manner in which the issues/discrepancies should be addressed pursuant to the policies and practices of Ireland's Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade. Includes ongoing analysis and review of records and lineage during the records preparation process, and advice regarding sufficiency of records and alternative search options and supporting documents. $125.00 for first applicant. $50.00 per additional applicant.
Irish Passport Application Package
This fee includes our drafting the Irish passport application for a first-time applicant. We will draft the application and send it to client with detailed instructions for signing it before a proper witness, including how the witness must sign and what information is required from the witness. We also advise regarding the proof of I.D. and address documents that are required, as well as the passport photos that must be submitted. We will collect the completed application and other documentation from the applicant and review it for accuracy and to confirm it is sufficiently completed within the guidelines of Ireland's Dept. of Foreign Affairs. We will organize the documents, including the required vital records, make the appropriate copies for submission, as required. $375.00.
Irish Passport Application Processing Fee
This is the fee charged by Ireland's passport office to process a first-time application for an Irish passport. It also includes applicable international transaction processing fees. $155.00 per applicant.
Passport Application Mailing Fee
This is the fee to ship the client's passport application package to the passport office in Dublin, via UPS with tracking, with delivery in 3-5 business days, and tracking to the nearest postal office. $67.50
